Sails in the bag

Mike and I made another trip to Joseph Huberman's shop to work out the kinks on the sails for the final time we hope. We removed the sailcloth sleeve in exchange for some stretchy bias cut bright yellow heavy weight nylon fabric. This worked perfectly and allows for complete downhaul control. We also added a thick webbing cup on the top of the sail similar to a windsurfer mast that captures the top of the mast and keeps the load off of the sleeve. Sails today, seats and foot pedals tomorrow. Thanks for checking in.
