Well, we did it. It was a tough fight but we eventually wrestled the fiberglass onto the hull, held it down and poured epoxy all over it. Two long strips was all it took. When it was all over, the mass of cups on the table reminded me of the aftermath of a crazy college party. NO MORE EPOXY PLEASE! Okay, maybe a little more won't hurt.The hull takes on a completely different and refreshing look with its uniform epoxy soaked wood color. Tomorrow we will....you guessed it, pour more epoxy on the glass to fill in the fabric's weave and make the surface smooth to the touch before sanding and putting on the primer. Maybe finish up the masts too. SO CLOSE!
