SOS: Beating upwind in inches of water

No moon at 9:00pm,  sailing into an east wind blowing 13-15 kt with 20kt gusts,  low tide at -1 foot,  barriers to avoid    --or else be the pinball.

Florida Bay sure plays a mean pinball 

At 9am and 9pm on 3/8  it was low tide at -1 foot
