SandyBottom and MicroTom at checkpoint 3
Paddling from the Joe River Chickee (campsite platform), SB and MT arrived in Flamingo, FL, at 8:33am. SandyBottom said the plan is to pitch hammocks and catch up on some sleep and then launch toward Key Largo later today when the winds may be lighter.
Currently the winds are 17 mph with gusts up to 22 mph according to SailFlow. Decreasing to 10 mph this afternoon.
